I would recommend that you record the incident on your tool and send it in through you tool. While it should give you sub code keep in mind that no matter what any aftermarket scanner company says they are not the oem tool and never will be . So you will run into this problem. The best way for them to know about the problem is to send it through the tool with the recorded file . That gives the information regarding the car and system you working on.
